About

I’m a writer, editor, new media developer, and live music freak. Leftover Cheese is the site where my freak flag is flown.

I’ve been existing on steady diet of live music since 1985. I started writing about it soon thereafter and have recently been providing multi-media content on bands and the indie rock scene as part of my day job in advertising.

Some words from musicians I admire:

  • “Anyone who chooses to listen to our music becomes a collaborator. People who look at music as commerce don’t understand that. They are talking about pieces of plastic they want to sell, packages of intellectual property. I’m not interested in selling pieces of plastic.” -Jeff Tweedy
  • “Music is a spiritual language and it represents the people of the earth. When musicians are compelled to play anything, it goes straight to the throne of the Creator of the Universe, and that is how He sees you, according to your music.” – Sun Ra

Shame to hear you’re shutting down. I’m sure it is a well informed decision, however. All the best.
